Smart Connected Products and Services sold “as a service” are where future value and revenue stream growth will come from across all industries. In a recent survey, 66% of companies think their valuation will increase by 50% by transitioning to XaaS models. This means that everything from medical devices, agriculture equipment, home appliances, and industrial equipment will always be connected and constantly streaming data because of telemetry data, algorithms, and patches constantly flowing across wireless grids.
Achieving this will require a transformation of what companies need and how they’ll leverage mission-critical wireless infrastructure and services to drive these XaaS solutions. This creates a massive opportunity for wireless carriers and vendors to create the solutions these Smart companies will need. The opportunities will be on the same scale as what it meant to telecoms/datacoms with ISPs, network equipment, web services, and ultimately hyper-scalers today.
In this webinar, Maria Azada Portfolio Products & Business Strategy Director at Nokia, and Michael Kanazawa, Global Leader, As-a-Service Business Operations & Transformation Solutions at EY, share key insights, best practices, and use cases relating to the financial benefits of adopting a Telecom SaaS delivery model.
