London, Thursday 6th February 2025: Last night, talent from across the creative industries gathered to celebrate the 2025 EE Rising Star Award nominees at the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party, hosted by EE and Radhika Jones, Vanity Fair’s Editor-In-Chief. Held at the acclaimed Pavyllon London and Bar Antoine at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, founded by the renowned French Chef Yannick Alléno, guests marked the awards season in style, enjoying Four Seasons’ signature, heartfelt hospitality.  

Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the prestigious EE Rising Star Award, names in attendance included four of this year’s EE Rising Star nominees Marisa Abela, David Jonsson, Mikey Madison and Nabhaan Rizwan.

Guests enjoyed DJ sets from Rose Gray and Storm Mollison, as well as a surprise set from EE Rising Star nominee Nabhaan Rizwan. Canapés from the renowned chefs of Pavyllon London and Bar Antoine at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane were served, with guests dining on light bites including Shrimp Fritters, Confit Duck Boa, Comte Cheese Soufflé, Spice Crab Cakes, a live sushi station and Chocolate Tonka Éclairs. 

Drinks from BAFTA’s official partners Champagne Taittinger and Don Julio were also on the menu, while the team at Pavyllon London at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, opened by multi-Michelin starred chef Yannick Alléno, created bespoke cocktails in honour of each 2025 EE Rising Star nominee, including:

  • Jharrel Jerome – Unstoppable Collins 
  • David Jonsson – Romulus Reposado   
  • Mikey Madison – The Anora Effect 
  • Nabhaan Rizwan – The In Camera 

The EE Rising Star Award, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, recognises emerging actors who have demonstrated exceptional talent and captivated the imagination of both the public and the film industry. This year’s nominees are Marisa Abela (Back to Black), Jharrel Jerome (Unstoppable), David Jonsson (Alien: Romulus), Mikey Madison (Anora) and Nabhaan Rizwan (In Camera). As the only award at the EE BAFTA Film Awards voted for by the British public, it reinforces EE’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of stars and providing the nation with the chance to have their say in choosing the next recipient of the prestigious award.  

Film fans are encouraged to cast their vote, with the winner being announced at the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday 16th February 2025. Voting is now live at ee.co.uk/BAFTA and closes 14th February 2025.

The UK’s biggest night in film will take place at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall and will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK, it will stream on BritBox International in North America, and available on demand on BritBox in the Nordics and Australia. The awards will also be available on a number of other broadcasters internationally.
