We released our annual sustainability report, People and Planet 2020 on 7 April 2021, revealing we have exceeded our target to enable 6.5 billion subscriptions two years ahead of schedule.
The report presents our position, achievements and requirements in sustainable development and corporate responsibility and is prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards. It is also aligned with other sustainability reporting frameworks, such as SASB and the UN Global Compact. The key sustainability indicators have been assured by Nokia’s independent auditor, Deloitte.
Technology and digitalization continue to play a key role in
enabling a sustainable future. Our climate commitments are
set for the 1.5°C scenario. The critical solutions we create are
keeping people connected and enable sustainable industries.
Trust, integrity and ethical behavior define how we do business.
Our technology is a social good and we strive to ensure it is
not misused. We work hard to build a responsible, transparent
supply chain. We enable and promote human rights and
collaborate with our value chain and beyond. We celebrate an
inclusive, diverse world where nobody is left behind.
