Nokia and Strathclyde University launch first transatlantic innovation hub

The University of Strathclyde and Nokia launch the first transatlantic innovation hub linking Nokia’s Energy Innovation Centre in Plano, Texas with the University’s Dynamic Power Systems Laboratory in Glasgow, Scotland. The collaboration establishes a cross-discipline utility testing environment offering utilities from around the world the ability to explore disruptive technologies, evaluate new applications on a real-world utility network without putting power supplies at risk, and provides access to use cases, major trend reports and the learnings and experiences of their peers.
