There’s been a great deal of controversy recently about the problems consumers are having with the performance of their iPhone 6 battery. It’s been a hot topic online and in the news, with Government reps and legal eagles getting in on the backlash.

But Primate Labs (the company that created Geekbench who analyse software performance) decided to do a check of older Android smartphones by using the same set of data that exposed the iPhone issue. Here’s what John Poole, founder of Primate Labs and the author of the study that confirmed the iPhone battery issue, had to say to MashableUK:
“We focused on Samsung simply because they are the largest handset provider on Android, and we viewed this as a litmus test. We haven’t seen any evidence of this widespread performance-limiting problem that has affected the Apple iPhones. It seems to be that this is a problem that is very unique to Apple.”
How have Apple reacted?
