5G is the buzzword at MWC this year, but the average consumer isn’t always clear on what it means for them. Why is 5G so important?
5G will undoubtedly play a huge role in the smartphone industry moving forward, especially in the new era of content creation. At Sony we are fascinated with the potential of capturing reality, while also delivering Real-Time value, with a lack of latency and content delivery with immediacy. We believe live and Real-Time content will be greatly accelerated with the introduction of 5G.

Through volumetric recording, consumers will be able to enjoy live sports in 360 viewing to feel all the excitement.
