How to get your fix of the 2018 Paralympic Games.

The world’s best athletes are gathered in Pyeongchang, Korea to compete in the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games. This breath-taking event takes place from 9th – 18th March and it’s set to be an alpine adventure you won’t want to miss.

Get ready to witness the awesome skills of heroic contenders as they compete in these amazing Paralympic sports: cross-country skiing, ice sledge hockey, snowboarding, alpine skiing, biathlon and wheelchair curling. And the pressure is seriously on: Great Britain came back from the 2014 Sochi Games in Russia with six medals and have a target this year of between six and 12. Can we come up trumps in Pyeongchang?

If adrenaline-fuelled sports on a dramatic white backdrop excite you – and you’re not lucky enough to be jetting off to Korea – you need to make sure all the action speeds itself to you. We’ll show you how below and in our quick video guide above…

Streaming the Paralympic Games live.

The Paralympic Games will be aired on Channel 4, but if you’re on the go, you can watch the Games live on your device with TV Player whenever you’ve got a Wi-Fi or data connection. But what if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi on your daily commute? Do you really want to use up all your data?

Cue Go Binge on Three. There’s no need to hunt for a hotspot or be careful with your data, because with Go Binge you can stream TV infinitely without having to worry about the cost. This means you can catch Kelly Gallagher – the first British athlete to EVER win a gold medal on snow – with her new guide Gary Smith. Or witness the 11-time World Champion and six-time overall World Cup winner, Marin Fourcade at the men’s Biathlon (a cool mix of cross-country skiing and rifle shooting).

It’s worth noting that Pyeongchang is 9 hours ahead. But don’t worry, the On Demand service on TV Player will also have all the highlights and recorded action for you to download at a time that suits you.

What if I’m on Pay As You Go? Can I stream the Paralympic Games 2018?

If you’re on Three Pay As You Go and you don’t have access to Go Binge, you still don’t need to worry about the cost of data when you’re streaming the Games, because you can catch the moments you care about with one of our data Add-ons.

An Add-on helps you save money on the things you do most on your phone and you can buy them through the Three app. Our cheapest Add-on gives you 500MB for £5 and you get approx. 2.5 hours of TV with this. Or, if you know you’ll be glued to most of the Games, you can watch more for less with our All-in-one 35 Add-on, which gives you all-you-can-eat data. Each Add-on lasts for 30 days, so they’ll take you through the thrills and spills of Pyeongchang 2018, and beyond.

Get unmissable updates direct to your phone.

If you’re unable to watch the action unfold, you can always get the best bits sent straight to your phone. Simply download the PyeongChang 2018 official app onto your device, and you’ll be the first to hear about breaking news. And if you’re one of the lucky ones who’s made it out to South Korea, the app has plenty of information and advice for spectators too.

So, there you have it. Everything you need to get stuck in to this year’s Paralympic Games. We hope you enjoy every inspirational, thrilling minute.
