We’re proud to be supporting Public Health England in launching Every Mind Matters on Monday 7 October. Through joining forces with the biggest brands from construction, retail, sports and banking, we’ll be introducing a new campaign to tackle mental health. It’ll focus on educating the nation to understand mental health better, how to spot symptoms in others and provide help.

Stats show that mental health is still a huge concern, with 1 in 4 people experiencing it at some point in their lives. Every Mind Matters will describe a variety of approaches where everyone can prepare for life’s ups and downs. It’s launching a new tool called ‘Your Mind Plan’, which offers a step-by-step guide to creating an action plan. To begin, you need to answer some questions approved by health professionals. You’ll then be given recommendations.

We want to support the health of both our customers and our staff in as many ways as we can. So, check out the new tool below. You can also pick up a leaflet when you’re next in our stores to find out more.

The launch day will feature a packed schedule of media coverage, interviews, and celebs all talking about their mental health experiences. Get involved by watching, reading, or telling your family and friends about it. Plus, tune in at 8.45pm, for the synchronised showing of the ‘Every Mind Matters’ film. Written by Richard Curtis and directed by Rankin, it stars, Gillian Anderson, Davina McCall, Glenn Close, Freddie Flintoff, Professor Green, and Nadiya Hussain. You can see it on ITV, Channel 4 or Sky.
