EE has today announced it will be offering Beats Solo 4 Minecraft Special Edition headphones created to celebrate the game’s landmark 15-year anniversary – in the EE Studio store in Westfield London, White City, as well as via ee.co.uk. The partnership forms part of EE’s ambition to become the UK’s no.1 destination for gaming.
Minecraft teamed up with Beats by Dr. Dre to release a special edition Solo 4 headphone, featuring a Minecraft-inspired pixelated design with metallic green hinges and the iconic “Creeper” character.
Beats Solo 4 Minecraft Special Edition headphones will be available on 18th July from 3pm at both ee.co.uk, and in the EE Studio store, Westfield London, White City – a limited number will be available in store on a first come first serve basis (one per customer).
To mark the celebrations, the EE Studio will feature a Minecraft takeover and customers can also play Minecraft in EE’s in-store Gaming Zone – one of the UK’s largest dedicated community gaming hubs, with elite gaming rigs, racing simulators, virtual reality experiences and the most up-to-date games and consoles. The first customer who purchases a set of the headphones in the store will receive a Backbone mobile gaming controller (worth £99.99) and EE Game Card (worth £70), with the next nine customers able to also receive an EE Game Card worth £70 each.
