During a demo with Deutsche Telekom in Bonn, we operated remote-controlled Nokia drones on their 5G network. Using Network as Code to interface with CAMARA APIs, we verified the fleet’s location and boosted network quality where the drones were flying — both firsts. Using an operations center in Belgium, this was also the first cross-country remote operation of drones on a public programmable network.
