During gamescom 2018, we’re celebrating some new and exciting milestones for Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass provides gamers the ultimate value and freedom to play over 100 great games for one low monthly price, and we’re always working to upgrade the service based on feedback from our members.

We heard from members that they wanted access to more blockbusters in the service, and in response we now release all new games from Microsoft Studios into Xbox Game Pass timed to their global launch, including Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Forza Horizon 4 coming on October 2. We’ve also heard from our community that they want faster access to their games and an easier way to explore the catalog. That’s why, just last month, we released a new dedicated tab on the Xbox One Home, to deliver just that. We also continue to evolve the catalog with new games added every month, including popular releases this Summer such as Fallout 4 and Rocket League.

Building on this momentum, here at gamescom we are excited to announce the release of the Xbox Game Pass app, now available in beta on iOS and Android. If you’re a member of Xbox Game Pass, you’re going to want this app! Browse any of the games in the Xbox Game Pass catalog, discover new titles and download them straight to your console when you’re on your mobile device. That way, they’re ready to play the next time you turn on your Xbox One. It’s that easy.

In addition, we are also excited to announce that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be included with Xbox Game Pass beginning September 1, corresponding with a significant game update for all players on Xbox that delivers new visual enhancements with up to 4K UHD resolution on Xbox One X, improved matchmaking, offline LAN, customizable installation options, and faster load times. This is the definitive way to experience the ultimate Halo saga and includes the extensive suite of campaign, multiplayer and additional features from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 – all updated to run at 60FPS.

If you haven’t tried Xbox Game Pass yet, now is the time, as we have an incredible offer for new members that you won’t want to miss.
