Today, on the Windows Blog, we announced that Windows 11 will start to become available beginning on October 5. A brand-new Windows experience, Windows 11 will be available through a free upgrade on eligible Windows 10 PCs and PCs that come pre-loaded with Windows 11 will start to become available for purchase.
Windows 11 was built to be a place where everyone can play, connect, and create. Thanks to its superior graphics and amazing speed, games on Windows 11 look and play better than ever before. Of course, even the best graphics and speed are nothing without games. That’s why we created Xbox Game Pass for PC and Ultimate, a membership which gives you access to a library of over 100 high-quality PC games including day one releases from Xbox Game Studios, iconic franchises from Bethesda Softworks, indie games, blockbusters, and more.
A focus on gaming is just one of the many highlights of the upcoming Windows 11 release. For a closer look at some the other features you’ll be able to enjoy when Windows 11 is available on October 5, head over to the Windows Blog.
