This Tech Talk video covers the thermal design of PowerEdge MX, i.e. the Multiple Airflow Zone architecture that provides dedicated, independent airflow paths to each of the critical sub-systems: compute and storage sleds; I/O fabric; and power supply modules. This helps enable fresh air delivery to each of those subsystems, maximizing the density and feature support that can be achieved while also maintaining good thermal efficiency.
