Nokia and Elisa improve Immersal’s Visual Positioning System (VPS)

At the Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland, Nokia partnered with Immersal to showcase how Nokia’s Network as Code’s (NaC) Device Location capability enhances Immersal’s Visual Positioning System (VPS) through Elisa’s 5G network.
Over the past two years, Nokia has collaborated with Elisa and Immersal, developing AR experiences on top of Elisa and Nokia’s 5G network at the Nokia Arena.
NaC’s Device Location API enhances Immersal’s VPS to ease device positioning, tackling the challenges of positioning devices in extensive spaces, such as the 50,000 square meter (12.355 acres) Nokia Arena that is almost seven times the area of a football field.
