On February 8, China Minsheng Bank and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two sides will join forces to build a new ecosystem of digital intelligent banks that embodies the most advanced financial technologies. This cooperation will fully leverage advantages of both parties, improve R&D efficiency in innovation, improve customer service quality, and enhance operation management capabilities. Focusing on intelligent financial products and service innovation in the fields of cloud computing, Big Data, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT), this project will further promote the transformation and upgrade of the traditional finance industry to better serve the general public. Signing the Strategic Cooperation Agreement

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, Huawei will provide all-round and extensive support to China Minsheng Bank in aspects of technology and financial strategies and digital intelligent bank construction. Under the principle of mutual benefits, China Minsheng Bank and Huawei will build a joint innovation lab to advance technologies such as finance cloud, Big Data, artificial intelligence, and IoT, jointly exploring the intelligent financial cloud service model for small- and medium-sized institutions. By incubating and developing new Big Data products, the lab aims to improve the management efficiency and user experience of supply chain finance through new technologies such as IoT, improve the intelligent levels of financial operation services, and promote the development of inclusive finance as well as real economy. Huawei will provide China Minsheng Bank with next-generation green intelligent data centers to help it provide better products and services. In addition, the two sides will strengthen information sharing and training communications in fields of technology trend research, enterprise management, and enterprise culture, so to provide suggestions for high-level decision-making.

The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement symbolizes cross-industry convergence and collaboration between finance and technology industries. By leveraging their respective industrial resources and technical advantages, both sides can provide customers with more convenient, efficient, and diverse high-quality technological and financial services. Partners of both sides can be incorporated into a broader technology + financial ecosystem and enhance their core competitiveness.
