Celebrate the last 30 years of Street Fighter with Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, now available on Xbox One! We’re honored to bring this collection to you, which contains three decades worth of history, music, and world-famous characters that changed the fighting game genre.
The 12 titles included in Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection are Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. All 12 titles will have local Versus Mode where characters and stages can be freely chosen by two players!
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike all contain online play where you can challenge fighters from all over the world. These four games also feature a recreation of the classic arcade experience where a hopeful challenger will step up and insert coins to fight you. As you play through Arcade Mode, you’ll be interrupted by opponents you wouldn’t have had the chance to fight back in your local arcade. Once the match is over, you’ll be sent straight back to Arcade Mode to continue your single-player playthrough. If you’d rather play Arcade Mode without interruptions, you can turn this option on and off.
In addition, online matches include both casual and ranked matches to fit your street fighting needs. Casual matches do not reflect your place on the leaderboards, but ranked matches do. If you’re feeling competitive, you can check the leaderboards at any time to determine how you place. Before playing online, you can select or unselect which of the four games you’d like to play, so if you’re not feeling confident in Street Fighter Alpha 3, feel free to unselect it! Lobbies are also available in online play where up to four players can group up and vote on which game to play. When in a lobby, any player not duking it out can spectate the match – and maybe learn a few things before it’s their turn.
Need a place to practice before heading into online play? The same four games (Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike) have Training Mode! Practice combos and set-ups or learn a new character in the robust Training Modes that feature the option to display damage, inputs, dummy actions, and more! The training options will vary depending on the game you hop into Training Mode with – you can toggle the dummy’s use of parrying in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Enhance and customize your training even more with the record and play options where you can record the dummy’s actions yourself and play it back.
Although fighting is the name of the game, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection contains an expansive Museum, which chronicles the series in an interactive timeline. Uncover concept art, pitch documents, and early sketches of stages and characters. Head to the music section of the Museum to listen to a library of retro tunes from all 12 games. Learn more about all the playable characters in their bios while viewing their sprites. The Museum is a collection in itself that we can’t wait for you to visit!
Thank you for all the support these past 30 years! Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is now available on Xbox One!
