What do you get when you offer up-and-coming musicians the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry’s top producers? That’s what Samsung Canada’s Studio Sessions project aimed to find out.
Held over the course of two days at Vancouver’s famed Warehouse Studio, the project placed breakout Canadian producers Harrison, WondaGurl, and Grammy award-winner T-Minus in a studio with talented artists of various genres and styles. What happened next was captured entirely using the Galaxy S9+.
Like the project itself, Samsung’s newest flagship was designed to foster exciting entertainment experiences. The device’s innovative camera, and the Super Slow-mo function in particular, offered a dynamic way to capture the incredible sounds, energy and creativity that defined the cross-genre collaborations.
The fruits of the sessions have been compiled on an album that’s available to download exclusively via the Samsung Members app.* You can listen to a selection of the songs by visiting the project’s official SoundCloud page, and don’t forget to check out the videos below to see how the Galaxy S9+ captured the producers’ and artists’ creative processes.
