O2 has today announced that RAYE – the genre-defying singer songwriter who broke records at this year’s BRIT Awards – will play an intimate Priority gig for fans on Monday 23rd September at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Tickets will be given away to fans for free via a ballot on the Priority app and website, available exclusively for O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers.
2024 has been RAYE’s biggest year yet, winning an unprecedented six BRIT Awards – the most an artist has ever won in a single year – plus an Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year, and touring the UK in support of her debut album My 21st Century Blues including a sold-out show at The O2 arena in London.
RAYE’s Priority gig comes hot on the heels of showstopping performances at festivals around the world this summer, including performances at Reading and Leeds Festivals last weekend, and will be UK fans’ only chance to see her perform on home soil live for the rest of 2024. Fans can expect a career-spanning set from RAYE and will get to experience all of their favourite hits such as “Escapism.” in the intimate setting of O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. The world-famous venue has previously hosted shows from the likes of The Rolling Stones and Billie Eilish, and Girls Aloud played their own Priority gig there this summer.
The Priority gig is RAYE and O2’s way of giving back to fans. As a thank you, a group of Priority members who have engaged with RAYE’s shows previously through the Priority Tickets platform will enjoy an exclusive 48-hour window starting from today, for their chance to get tickets to the show on a first come, first served basis. A ballot will then be opened for all Priority members from 10am on Thursday 29 August 2024. Priority members can access the ballot via the Priority app or website for the chance to win.
