For Honor players who’ve held off on unlocking the four Heroes of the Wu Lin faction can see what they’ve been missing starting today on Xbox One, when a new Hero Trial will make them temporarily available for use on the battlefield.

Xbox Live Gold members who already own For Honor on Xbox One will be able to play as the Tiandi, the Nuxia, the Shaolin, and the Jiang Jun until February 12, giving you time to learn to use them effectively against other players, and to decide if they’re right for you.

If you want to continue playing as the Wu Lin Heroes after February 12, For Honor’s Marching Fire expansion will be on sale for 50% off during the trial period. In addition to immediate, permanent access to all four Wu Lin Heroes, Marching Fire includes the PvE Arcade mode, which creates randomly generated, reward-granting combat scenarios that can be played solo or with another player in co-op.

The Hero Trial is available to all For Honor players beginning Tuesday, February 5 at 5:00 a.m. PT on and ending on Tuesday, February 12 at 5:00 a.m. PT. To start sharpening your skills now, grab For Honor today from the Microsoft Store and experience what nearly two years of updates and improvements have brought to the battlefield.
