O2 today announces the launch of the O2 Health Tariff, a unique connectivity package exclusively for health organisations.  Aimed at giving health professionals the connectivity they need at an affordable price, the tariff aims to help organisations meet the NHS goal of being paper free at point of care by 2020.

From just £12 a month per user (ex. VAT) the O2 Health Tariff offers unlimited calls and texts with 2GB of data per user per month, allowing data to be shared between other users.O2 was the first network to achieve government CAS(T) approval, meaning customers can be confident that patient critical data is safe hands.

The new tariff helps to provide the assurance that health managers need to deploy their mobile connectivity, providing a range of end to end security and device management capabilities including;

  • Mobile Device Management:  the ability for your organisation’s devices to be centrally controlled, configured, managed and reported on.
  • SIM management: securely control how your data is used, not just your devices.
  • Intrusion protection software to help protect your data and devices from cyber-attacks.

Making adoption simple, the O2 Health Tariff also offers project management support and a managed logistics service to seamlessly connect the user base. The user experience will be enhanced from the moment they switch on their device to find it configured to their individual needs.

For those who need additional help, customers also have online access to O2 Gurus to answer any further questions.

Katy Liddell, Managing Director of Enterprise and Public Sector Sales at O2, says: “We believe that the people providing exceptional care deserve exceptional connectivity to help them to be at their very best.  With the O2 Health Tariff healthcare professionals can access the information they need wherever they are, helping to remove the hassle of admin and freeing up resource.  With peace of mind that customer data is safe and secure, and the SIM visibility to control costs, our new tariff makes it easier for users to focus on improving patient outcomes.”
