For the second year running, O2 has been recognised as the top Mobile Network Operator in the Which? annual customer satisfaction survey for mobile providers.
15 providers including MVNO’s (mobile virtual network operators) were assessed on aspects such as customer service, network reliability and rewards & incentives. O2-owned Giffgaff took top spot followed by Tesco Mobile and Sky Mobile who all use O2’s network.
The placing in the survey comes at a time when O2 is investing more than ever in its network to keep customers connected. O2’s coverage and reliability are industry recognised, with GWS recently ranking O2 again as the most reliable UK network (best for three years in a row – 2021, 2020, 2019). O2 also recently took top spot again as Best Network Coverage provider at the publicly voted Uswitch Awards (best for four years in a row 2021, 2020, 2018, 2019). O2 also won Best Network Performance at the Mobile News Awards in both 2020 and 2019.
O2 has led the industry with its commitment to Customer Fairness. Since 2013 O2 Refresh has split airtime and device costs so customers never pay for a handset they already own, and the evolution of customisable plans gives customers true flexibility over how they pay for their mobile phone.
Priority, exclusive to O2 customers, also continues to drive value back bringing a collection of invite-only moments to help customers do more of the things they love. This month O2 and Greggs have teamed up to offer O2 customers the exclusive chance to get a free baked good every Friday or Saturday, including their famous Sausage Rolls and Vegan Sausage Rolls via the Priority app.
O2 has also been the best performing MNO for customer service coming top in 18 out of the 23 UK CSI polls (run by the Institute of Customer Service) over the last 11 years.
