What do Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez and U2 have in common? That’s right team, it’s Kygo. This month we’re all about the tropical house sound of Norway’s hottest young producer and DJ as he flies high off the back of his recently released EP, Stargazing.
Stargazing has paved the way for second studio album, Kids in Love, released this month. Kygo says of his inspiration, “Being a kid in love is that concept of being super-passionate about someone or something. I’ve been [super-passionate] about playing the piano since I was six years old, whenever I make a song or melody that I really like, I feel like a kid in love.”
We’re certainly Kids in Love with all we’ve heard to date, and we think you will be too. Check out the track that started it all, Stargazing, with Justin Jesso below:
Also new to Spotify this month is the second album from the soulful Sam Smith, The Thrill of it All. Single number two, Pray, comes complete with choral backing as, once again, the entire album deals with the familiar theme of heartbreak that Sam’s come to deliver so well.
Others to listen out for include sixth album from Taylor Swift, Reputation (10 Nov), Sia’s Christmas album, Everyday is Christmas (17 Nov), and The Architect from Paloma Faith (17 Nov).

As a compulsive liar, stuck in a dead end job with a girlfriend who’s just dumped him, it seems life can’t get much worse for Daniel Glass (Rupert Grint). That is until he’s diagnosed with oesophageal cancer of course…
It doesn’t sound much like much to laugh about, but new comedy series Sick Note will soon have you in stitches. Because, as it turns out, the diagnosis was made in error by the highly incompetent Dr Ianin Glennis (Kevin Frost). And, since people start treating Daniel better than ever before, he’s forced to make a tough decision – come clean about the misdiagnosis or live a cancer lie? Tune into NOW TV from 10pm Tuesday 7 November to watch the antics escalate. In the meantime, view the trailer below as Glass is forced to ‘get sick or try lying’.

Upgraded to Pack 2? You can enjoy everything that Sky Sports’ dedicated Golf, Cricket, Football and F1 channels have to offer as well. And, as it turns out, that’s a whole lot this month with the Heineken Brazilian Grand Prix live from 4pm Sunday 12 November, the DP World Golf Championship in Dubai starting Thursday 16 November and the first in the India vs Sri Lanka cricket test series taking place November 16.
