From the dawn of (video game) time there has always been a desire for one gamer to beat another. And with it a satisfaction that comes from knowing you defeated your friend in battle. The ID@Xbox team has harnessed this carnal pleasure and funneled it into discounting 50 of our favorite brawler and shooter games. From now through November 12 you can save up to 70% in the Beat ‘em Up Shoot ‘em Up Sale.

Brawlout (50% off) With online play and couch co-op support, as well as a large roster full of characters each with their own unique style of play, Brawlout effectively blends platform and traditional fighting gameplay into a stylish, aerobatic game the whole family can enjoy, but is a deep enough challenge for veterans of the genre.

No Time to Explain (50% off) No Time to Explain is a game about shooting the ground, putting on weight and setting your body on fire. Blast yourself through time and alternate realities to rescue your future-self from a giant crab sent by your evil time-twin from another dimension.

Gonner – Blueberry Edition (30% off) A tough as heck procedurally-generated 2D platformer with roguelike elements, following the largely misunderstood and selfless Ikk on a journey to cheer up his only friend in this world—a giant landbound whale named Sally. Unique environments, difficult bosses, hidden secrets, multiple endings, and more await Ikk on his journey to make one person happy even if it kills him.

Worms Battlegrounds (75% off) With more worms, larger landscapes, more dynamic water, more weapons and more customization items than ever before, Worms Battlegrounds features beautiful high definition 3D visuals (but still retains the classic 2D gameplay) with new lighting effects, new features to help users interact socially, exciting additions to improve the single player experience, and more of everything a Worms fan could want.

Next Up Hero (50% off) Fight. Die. Win! (And probably die some more.) Next Up Hero is a dungeon crawler featuring hand-drawn heroes that hack, slash, bongo-drum, boomerang, and jet their way through Ventures. Choose your Hero and start rolling dungeons, gearing out, and maxing your stats. If you’re feeling especially heroic, invite a friend for co-op. You’re going to need all the help you can get.

Tesla vs Lovecraft (30% off) On the eve of Nikola Tesla’s greatest invention, his laboratory is burned down by the inhuman minions of the horror author H.P. Lovecraft. A showdown of epic proportions begins as you must chase the monsters, annihilate massive amounts of eldritch abominations, and overcome the madness of the old gods with science and hi-tech weaponry. Supports local co-op for up to four players.
