Bing Chat Enterprise gives your organization AI-powered chat with commercial data protection. In July, we made Bing Chat Enterprise available in preview on Bing.com and the Edge sidebar.
Starting today, we are beginning to roll out Bing Chat Enterprise in the Windows Copilot Preview for eligible commercial customers (learn more about Bing Chat Enterprise licensing) in the Dev Channel. Some eligible commercial customers in the Beta Channel may also see it as well. Enterprises who have Bing Chat Enterprise enabled on Bing.com will not need to perform any extra steps to enable it in the Windows Copilot Preview.
For your employees, the experience will be very similar to the existing experience with Bing Chat – the branding changes to reflect Bing Chat Enterprise, and there is a reminder with each prompt that personal and corporate data is protected.
For IT Pros and those responsible for data protection and compliance the changes are “under the hood.” Bing Chat Enterprise enables your organization to use Windows Copilot with confidence that your data is protected—chat data is not saved, Microsoft has no ‘eyes on’ access, and your data is not used to train the underlying models. You can learn more about how Bing Chat Enterprise protects your privacy and data here.
Bing Chat Enterprise is grounded in web data and provides complete, verifiable answers with citations, along with visual answers that include graphs and charts, and is designed in line with our AI principles.
If you’re an IT admin and you want to manage Bing Chat Enterprise on Bing, Edge side bar or Windows Copilot for your organization, you can review the documentation to manage Bing Chat Enterprise.
The Windows Copilot Preview is currently available to Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel and is currently rolling out to Insiders in the Beta Channel.
REMINDER: Just click the “…” icon at the top right of the side bar in Windows Copilot to submit feedback on any issues you run into.
