In May, Microsoft announced a new category of devices: the Copilot+ PC. These PCs are the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built, featuring new silicon with NPUs capable of 40+ TOPS (trillion operations per second), all-day battery life and breakthrough AI experiences. This reimagining of the PC in its entirety has AI at its center, marking the most significant change to the Windows platform in decades.
Now at IFA, the annual Berlin-based electronics tradeshow, Copilot+ PCs took center stage with Microsoft’s partners, including Samsung, which introduced the latest addition to its Copilot+ PC lineup: the Galaxy Book4 Edge, now with a 15.6-inch FHD display that incorporates anti-glare technology. Powered by the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core platform, it readily taps into Copilot+ PC experiences.
Galaxy Book4 EdgeSamsung also announced the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, which will also include those experiences as a Copilot+ PC starting later this year through free Windows updates*. This device comes with an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor with up to 47 TOPS NPU and more than 300 third-party applications for enhanced AI experiences. With the Intel ARC GPU, it delivers Galaxy Book’s best graphics performance yet. Create anytime, anywhere, thanks to a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster, improving outdoor visibility and reducing glare. Experience a cinematic viewing experience with 3K (2880×1800) super resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
With both Copilot+ PCs, you can transfer files with ease and work across the ever-growing Samsung Galaxy ecosystem thanks to enhanced connectivity, and longer with a super-fast charging battery. Work seamlessly across PC and phone at any time, letting technology do the heavy lifting. Microsoft Phone Link provides access to your Galaxy phone screen on your PC, enabling use of popular Galaxy AI phone features such as Live Translate, Photo Assist and Circle to Search with Google, opening up new ways to communicate, create and discover.
And as a Copilot+ PC, you know your computer is secure as Windows 11 brings layers of security – from malware protection, to safeguarded credentials, to data protection and more trustworthy apps.
