Have you ever wanted to change the world? Remove everything you don’t like so you can do things your way? If so, you may have one thing or two in common with Nika. She is a smart seven-year-old girl who doesn’t like the world she lives in, so she used her skills to build MechaNika, a ten feet tall combat mecha to destroy everything that is not awesome. And that includes history books, planned obsolescence, kitschy dresses, never-ending sagas of boring video games and pea soup, just to name a few.
As soon as you join Nika in this adventure you will realize that you are not the only one with “special” plans for the world, so you will have to deal with them somehow. During your mission, you will enter a flashy heaven of mandatory happiness, discover a techno-slavery empire ruled by an infamous corporation, and visit a digital hideout for dull and uninspired story tellers. You and Nika will traverse the Psychotic world and discover 18 completely different environments with plenty of things that are not cool enough to exist anymore. It’s time for a reset. Or maybe not, because as you explore this Psychotic world you will meet many freak folks and face some unexpected situations where things may not be what they seem. You will have to use your wit to evaluate the possible outcomes and make some tough and irreversible decisions.
To help you make the right decisions MechaNika comes with four threatening weapons: a mutilating radial saw, a stunning electro-ray emitter, an explosive dollhead grenade launcher, and a heavy mass propellant. Not enough? Don’t you worry, because you will be able to collect scrap metal from defeated enemies and destroyed environments and use it to increase the energy of MechaNika’s core. A new core level means a new special attack unlocked. And you have four to choose: the dumbshredder, the electroblast, the pyrorain and the groundgracker. A deadly mecha of mass destruction, the definitive god of chaos, awaits you in Colossus Down.
Speaking of gods. Nika has a friend, Agatha. She is an insomniac girl that loves animals, enjoys eating meat, and works in her mother’s butcher shop slaughtering piglets and chicks at night. And she just created Carnivorism, a new religion for animals. Agatha and The Great Bleeding Pig, God of Carnivorism, will join you, Nika and MechaNika in your destruction quest, spreading the word of their meaty religion and converting all heretics. The cooperative mode for two players in Colossus Down will then be summoned.
This cooperative mode will feature new narrative events and a new layer of deeper strategic combat thanks to the new set of skills of the Pig God: the magic meatball, the corrosive blood tears and, obviously, an extra sharp butcher’s knife. Four additional special attacks will also be available for the Great Bleeding Pig to unlock during the quest: the chopping tornado, the purifying herd, the scarlet vomit and the divine retribution.
Colossus Down is the newest epic in the Psycotic Adventures, a series of genre-spanning games with dark stories and twisted characters from the unique and colorful Psychotic world. Strategic destruction, decision making and a spicy plot come together in this combination of beat’em up, shoot’em up, platforming and puzzles. Now it’s time for you to join forces with Nika, MechaNika, Agatha and the Great Bleeding Pig in this peculiar and crazy mission. So, are you ready for destruction?

And if there’s someone in the world that hates vegetables more than Nika, it’s her friend Agatha, the insomniac butcher and prophetess of Carnivorism that loves animals and their succulent meat in equal measure. That’s why, when she learns of the objectives of Nika’s plan, she doesn’t hesitate to join the mission of destruction alongside the Great Bleeding Pig, god of Carnivorism, to subdue any grass-eating, non-believers that get in the way.
But watch out, because along the way you’ll realise that Nika and Agatha are not the only ones that have a plan to change the world, and not everything’s as simple as it might have seemed at the start. You’ll have to make some tough and irreversible decisions to achieve your objectives, or renounce them.
