Millions of gamers around the world play FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) every day and the mode is getting even better in FIFA 19 with a host of new features. Division Rivals is the most significant addition, providing a match mode that nearly any player can enjoy. The UEFA Champions League, a big part of FIFA 19, is also playing a part in Ultimate Team. New Icons have also been added, including many players with famous histories in European club competition.

Division Rivals, replacing Online Seasons for FUT 19, is coming to the pitch to provide FUT players with a rewarding, enjoyable multiplayer experience. Squad Battles, the single-player FUT mode that was added to FIFA 18, was extremely popular due to the lucrative rewards at stake at the end of each week. Division Rivals will likely resonate with many of the same players that enjoyed Squad Battles.

This match mode places you in a Division the first time you play it, then uses a handful of matches to determine your skill level relative to other players. Every week, you’ll play against others in your Division to earn a choice between multiple reward options that can help improve your squad.

It was a big deal when EA Sports announced that the UEFA Champions League was going to in FIFA 19, especially because it’s going to be integrated into pretty much every mode in the game—including FUT. As the actual Champions League progresses in the real world, live content, such as in-form player items and Squad Building Challenges, will be released. This is going to let players follow along with the world’s largest club competition in the world at an immersive level as they upgrade their squad with the tournament’s top players.

Whether you’re looking to dive into fresh competition against your fellow FUT players or waiting to fill out your squad with your favorite legendary players, FUT 19 will help you rise like a champion. Pre-order FIFA 19 today on Xbox One and get ready to play on September 28.
