Recently at Computex, AMD announced its new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series, designed to unlock new AI experiences for PCs. New Windows 11 PCs powered by Ryzen AI 300 will be eligible to receive free updates to run Copilot+ PC experiences when available1.
After the updates are available, you will be able to experience the unique AI powered features available on Copilot+ PCs, the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever built. Powered by silicon running at over 40 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second), they are designed to accelerate your productivity and creativity with the latest AI tools. There’s Cocreator2, which enables you to create artwork from text prompts. And there’s Live Captions3, which can provide subtitles for any spoken audio in real-time, translated into English from more than 40 languages. Recall4 aims to solve one of the most common frustrations with using your PC – finding something you know you have seen on your PC but not remembering how to get back to it.
PC manufacturers have begun to announce AMD powered PCs that will be eligible for free updates, when available. Its NPU offers powerful performance and up to 21 hours of battery life. The PC was co-engineered with AMD to enable up to 55 TOPS , and the HP AI Companion optimizes the device for greater productivity and brings AI tools and solutions onto the device. The HP AI Companion will soon offer expanded functionality for managing PC settings and troubleshooting HP products – all in one easy-to-access location.
The OmniBook Ultra will receive free updates to Copilot+ PC experiences, when available.
HP also announced the Omni Studio X All-in-One Windows PC for consumers who need a performant AIO device for both creation and entertainment. Built with sustainability in mind, the OmniStudio X AIO uses 25% recycled metals and 35% post-consumer recycled plastics.
Another PC manufacturer with AMD’s new technology is Acer. Its Swift series of thin-and-light laptops now features models with the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series laptop processors. Stacked with more CPU and GPU cores made available in this class of AMD-powered PCs, and equipped with an ultra-efficient NPU, the AMD processors come ready to deliver revolutionary speed and performance on Acer’s new wave of AI PC offerings. The new models will receive free updates to Copilot+ PC experiences, when available.
AMD’s new chips allow Swift users to deploy AI capabilities locally and run certain generative AI applications, large language models and AI assistants directly on their laptops. In turn, they will experience less latency while running creativity and productivity tasks leveraging the NPU.
ASUS is also offering laptops with AMD’s new technology. The company’s lineup includes the 16-inch ProArt P16 clamshell and the 13-inch ProArt PX13 convertible powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series Processors.
If you want to shoot and edit in 4K, turn to the P16, powered by a 50 TOPS NPU integrated into the next-gen AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series Processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics. With the PX13 convertible laptop and its 360-degree hinge, flip between laptop, tent, stand or tablet modes.
