The device features enhanced sound with larger speakers, performs at a higher level with 12th Gen Intel Core processors and delivers up to 12 hours of battery life.

With Windows 11 installed on it, you’ll be able to use features such as Snap Assist and Desktops to juggle Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. You can also use Widgets to easily get to information such as weather, your Outlook calendar and news.

It has a fifth generation, 4-side InfinityEdge display, which means you’ll see folks you’re talking to in Microsoft Teams video calls in bright, improved clarity.

It’s available now for $999, and you can choose from two shades of Sky and Umber.

Later this summer, expect to see the XPS 13 2-in-1, which will be the first XPS device to offer 5G connectivity – meaning faster downloads (think Wi-Fi speeds) but for mobile broadband. Streaming, downloading files and rich video content happens a lot faster with the speed of 5G, so you can be productive and entertained, no matter where you are. eSIM technology also helps with mobility and travel in that you can go to different countries and connect to global carriers without having to switch SIM cards.

Designed around an intuitive, landscape-first viewing mode, the display panel delivers high brightness and precise detail with up to 3K resolution and vivid color. The high-resolution 1080p front-facing webcam offers a crisp and clear image as you orient it horizontally for video calls. With the 4K world-facing camera, you can capture high-fidelity photos and edit content. There are two options for the XPS 13 2-in-1, the standard WiFi 6E model is available in the subtle blue Sky color, and the 5G model available in a darker Slate hue.

Both these PCs are crafted from low-carbon aluminum, produced using hydro-powered renewable energy sources in line with Dell’s longstanding commitment to reducing its environmental impact. Doing so results in a 70% reduction in carbon emissions compared to aluminum chassis produced in traditional coal-powered facilities.
