About a month ago, Lenovo gave you a sneak peek at what they were announcing at CES 2024. Now the company has revealed the rest of the lineup, highlighting Windows 11 powered laptops, as well as a desktop for small businesses: Yoga Pro 9i, ThinkBook 13x Gen 4, Legion 7i and ThinkCentre neo Ultra.
The laptops include Microsoft Copilot in Windows 11. They have the new built-in Copilot key, providing faster access to your everyday AI companion in Windows 11, harnessing the capabilities of AI to make the things you do every day easier. Features include helping you summarize web pages and change settings.
Headlining the new generation of Lenovo Yoga laptops: the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i. It’s got the latest Intel Evo edition Intel Core Ultra Processors, a physical Lenovo AI Core Chip that powers robust AI functionality and rapid charging batteries. Lenovo X Power maximizes the performance of the Lenovo AI Core and Intel Ultra processors as a tuning solution powered by machine learning. It enhances creative tasks such as 3D rendering and film color correction by allocating processing power to optimize performance, battery life and cooling efficiency.
Built to be ultra-thin, ultra-light and ultra-powerful, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 also has a 74 WHr battery that can last up to 21 hours of video playback, up to 11.4 hours of web browsing, or up to 8.2 hours of conference calls. The display panel also has a low-power mode that adjusts the refresh rate and brightness based on users’ attention and presence, reducing energy consumption. An Intel Evo Edition laptop with Intel Core Ultra processors, it has a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and offers AI PC features that optimize your camera, sound and collaboration functions in supported applications such as Windows Studio effects. The integrated Lenovo LA3 AI chip uses a software machine learning algorithm to optimally tune system parameters for performance and battery life.
It’s not all work in Lenovo’s lineup. The Legion series of laptops are made for gaming. Players will find the latest Intel Core 14th Gen i9 14900HX processors on the Lenovo Legion 7i. All Lenovo Legion Series laptops are available with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics that feature NVIDIA’s RTX AI upscaling for faster framerates, AI-powered Max-Q technology to optimize performance and efficiency, supercharging gaming as well as creative and productivity tasks. New for this year is the Lenovo Legion Coldfront Hyper thermal solution. The fans in the thermal solution spin in opposite directions, pushing hot air out of the rear of the chassis while pulling cold air in from the back middle. The Hyperchamber in the middle, which is hermetically sealed from open air, keeps cold and hot air separate, increasing heat exchange and keeping the laptops’ hardware cooler and the framerates higher. This results in a net increase of up to 25W TDP in Extreme Mode for a max output of 175W TDP on the Lenovo Legion 7i, while keeping the keyboard cooler and more comfortable even under heavy processor loads.
All Lenovo gaming PCs come with three free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, giving players access to hundreds of high-quality games on PC, console and cloud.
Lenovo’s first Ultra small form factor desktop with powerful AI capabilities, the ThinkCentre neo Ultra welcomes a new era in computer performance where the CPU, an independent NPU and the GPU complement, collaborate and augment each other. The processors, ready to tackle a new future with AI computing, deliver optimal performance by maximizing resources and assigning the best activities to the right programs. Designed for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) looking to harness the capabilities of AI without heavy investments or equipment, the 3.6L desktop maximizes internal space, packing up to Intel Core i9 processor on an Intel vPro Enterprise platform, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, an easy to upgrade independent NPU card, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and more. Whether taking advantage of the AI capabilities to generate programming codes, creating images to reduce designer workload, crafting a jingle using an offline AI audio generator, conducting AI-driven live streaming, or collaborating with VR headsets to help enterprises with remote maintenance in the automobile and the manufacturing sectors, the ThinkCentre neo Ultra is here to change how companies create, collaborate and think. A triple thermal fan design draws cool air from the top and expels it from the bottom back to keep the desktop cool even under the most intense pressure.
