To celebrate Forza Horizon 5 being available now on Xbox Game Pass, we partnered with Mexico native and F1 driver Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez to create a new challenge showcasing Forza Horizon 5’s Mexico in Honda Civic Type R. Never afraid to take on a new track and have a bit of fun, Pérez partnered with us to develop a one-of-a-kind, piñata-inspired track IRL in a desert in Mexico in addition to bringing it to life in Forza Horizon 5 for fans to play in-game through Super7 Gameplay. Piñatas have been part of the Mexican culture for a long time. So full of life, colour, passion and happiness. They are a symbol of tradition, they represent moments of celebration with family and friends. We wanted bring this to life and celebrate the Mexican Culture by doing something fun that fans all over the world can enjoy. As part of Super7, a game mode that celebrates community-created challenges, fans will get the chance to try the festive challenge and see if they can match Pérez’s smooth driving style, unmatched speed and impressive race strategy, while building up their skill points.
