Halloween is in full swing in Warface: Breakout! The latest update is out now and gives the game a spooky makeover, plus a new limited-time mode, exclusive rewards, and lots more!
If you’re a fan of scary movies, you know what it’s like rooting for the heroes to survive against all odds. We want to give you that same feeling with Gun Mode, a limited-time event mode available throughout Halloween until November 11. Armed with only a handgun in the beginning, each confirmed kill grants you a new weapon as your old one disappears. Defend yourself, survive, and make your final kill with your trusty knife to win the game!
Your Gun Mode progression is tracked separately while the event is active, with 20 levels of exclusive rewards like avatars, stickers, weapon skins, victory poses and more available to earn. Missing a costume this year? The ghoulishly frightening RUSH and HUSH masks can be unlocked for Wardens and Reapers respectively. Competitive players can also fight for supremacy on a special leaderboard that ranks Gun Mode’s masters of survival. Aim for the top!
There are no tricks in this update, only treats. Our servers now have a tickrate of 60 Hz which, alongside a host of other technical improvements included in the Halloween update, will have positive impacts on gameplay, performance, and the overall smoothness of the Warface: Breakout experience.
Oh, and one more thing… Be sure to play on Halloween (October 31) to receive the Dracula Avatar as an exclusive login reward!
Warface Breakout is available to buy today from the Xbox Store, with the Halloween update available as a free download.
