London-based Studio Furthermore has created pendant lights made from 100 percent recycled aluminum sourced from discarded car wheels. Named Quasar Lamp, the lights have an unrepeated texture reminiscent of the surface of galactic volcanoes. Quasar Lamp will be on show at Design You Can Feel, an exhibition curated by Dezeen for ASUS, which celebrates tactility in design and tells the story of Ceraluminum, a ceramicised aluminum featured on the brand’s latest Zenbook laptops.
