Ever since our innovative Motion Eye Camera™ first brought Super slow motion and Predictive Capture into our hands with XZ Premium (and now also available on XZ1 and XZ1 Compact), we’ve been searching for the best way to put the feature to the test. So, naturally, we took a handset down to our local trampoline dodgeball park and asked some friendly stunt men to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge some balls for us. The outcome: some pretty awesome video content. We’ve edited the best bits together but you can also shoot multiple Super slow mo clips to create a whole sequence straight from the phone. While we were there, we also put the Predictive Capture* camera feature to the test against some fast-paced bouncing action. Available on XZ Premium, XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, the aim of Predictive Capture is to make sure you never miss the perfect photo – and that certainly worked out for us on the trampolines. The photographer might have missed the shot with our stunt man looking very flexible in a pike position, but the XZ Premium sure didn’t. It automatically detected his motion and started buffering before the shutter button was pressed, so now you’ll never have to rely solely on your reflexes again.
