Join Pro Alpha photographer Takashi Namiki as he shares his first impressions of Xperia PRO-I. Having printed his works for review, Takashi reflects on the boundary-pushing imaging capabilities of Xperia PRO-I when used to shoot at night-time. With tips on how to capture landscapes in the low light, Takashi adjusts the white balance for an atmospheric and futuristic feel. Combining the 1.0-type image sensor with the lower pixel count of 12 megapixels, the light receiving area results in reduced-noise image quality for spectacular results. Thanks to its 12bit RAW data, Xperia PRO-I can even reproduce the stars in the sky – a creation not previously possible when stargazing with a smartphone.
