The development teams are proud to finally get to share the next chapter in our adventure. On April 2, the Terraria 1.3.5 update will launch globally on Xbox One. Included will be new and improved language support/translations, a UI scaling slider/zoom options, new furniture, armor sets, and more! This will also mark a major milestone, as it will bring the Xbox One version up to parity with the PC version! If you are interested in learning all the details related to the 1.3.5 update or if you are interested in taking your Terraria passion to the next level then make sure you check out the official wiki.

Up next for Terraria will be the long-anticipated Journey’s End update. This major release includes an in-depth review of the entire game, looking for things that the team feels needs a fresh look (rebalancing/tweaking/polishing), as well as some areas that we feel were overlooked or forgotten when we were working on the past several updates. Journey’s End will bring a host of other new content to Terraria, including long-requested features, new foes to test your skills, and a whole host of new items to discover.

Terraria

If you are new to Terraria, then prepare for glory because you are in for an amazing sandbox metroidvania-style adventure! With nearly 4,000 items to craft or find, seemingly endless possibilities, and eye-popping secrets hidden within worlds teeming with foes to test your skills, Terraria is an experience that will draw you in for hours at a time. To help enhance the initial experience for players, we wanted to put together a bit of a “survival guide” to help everyone get started. We call this the “Two Nights in Terraria” tutorial – a quick way to bring yourself up to speed with the core fundamental nuggets of Terraria wisdom.

Beyond the game itself, Terraria has a massive and vibrant community of fans. From multiplayer sessions to advice to sharing builds or just hanging out and discussing the game – Terrarians are a fun and engaged bunch indeed! Want to connect with your fellow Terraria fans? Check out our official forums and Discord server for starters. We are fortunate to have one of the largest communities on Discord with the most text activity among any server, so there is always something going on there!

There’s no better time to join the vibrant community of Terrarians, as we have so much going on right now! Beyond the usual flurry of activity, we are currently in the midst of an unprecedented Terraria contest where we will pick three lucky members of our community and add their unique vanity creations to the official game. Full details for the Journey’s End Vanity Contest can be found on the official Terraria forums.

Thank you for being a member of the Terraria family and allowing us to enjoy this wild adventure with you! We look forward to sharing some amazing Terraria experiences with you via the official Terraria Xbox hub and please never hesitate to let us know how we can improve the game or your engagements within the community.

Stay safe and best of luck in 2020.
