See the future in action

Watch Chris Carmody, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) share his experience about working with Nokia and how we enable real-time healthcare. The scope of UPMC is enormous; the organization has 100,000 employees at 1,000 unique sites delivering care to millions of patients each year. UPMC’s IT goal is for “Frictionless IT” as they strive to keep reducing IT costs and while delivering excellent clinical care. Nokia helped UPMC implement a private and public cloud infrastructure that leveraged SDN, SD-WAN and virtualized network services. This has made UPMC efficient and effective in delivering IT as a service. Chris believes that UPMC is uniquely prepared to fully embrace new technologies like AI, machine learning and IoT in order to continue to deliver outstanding patient care and remain competitive in the marketplace.
