24th January 2025: Following the success of last year, EE Learn Live returns for a second year as EE teams up with a legendary line up of celebrities, experts and influencers to host an exciting day of talks, panel discussions and interactive workshops designed to ignite the passions of the next generation. Held at White Rabbit in Shoreditch, London on 20th February, 11-14 years olds and their guardians are invited to join EE for an unmissable half term experience, with places secured in advance via a charitable donation of £5*.
Hosted by TV Personality, Big Zuu, EE Learn Live offers a range of sessions designed to spark teens’ curiosity and show them how their interests can shape their future – from developing design skills, to gaming and vlogging – and how these passions can transfer into valuable life skills. The event will also support parents by providing them with tools and insights to help unlock their children’s potential and prepare them for tomorrow’s challenges.
The main stage features a lineup of eight individual talks and two panel discussions designed to show teens how they can explore their curiosities and passions in the world of music, fashion, sports, gaming, and the environment. The sessions include:
- United We Play: Jill Scott MBE, former professional footballer, steps onto the stage to discuss the importance of community in sports and how having resilience encourages teens to keep trying new skills until they find what they enjoy.
- Mindful Ambitions: Bringing together, Joe Wicks; founder & Author, also known as the body coach, will explore how mindfulness can enhance goal-setting, discussing practical strategies for defining aspirations and creating actionable plans to achieve them.
- Digi Realm Collaboration: Vik (Vikkstar, Vikkstar123), YouTuber, influencer, record producer and a member of British YouTube collective the Sidemen, will discuss how combining Sidemen’s individual strengths and working as a collective has turned their vision into reality, inspiring young content creators to embrace collaboration and world building in the digital landscape.
- Trust The Beat: Stepping onto the stage is Clara Amfo, TV and radio presenter, who will take the audience on her journey of self-experimentation, collaboration through sound, resilience to keep trying new things and how she found her path to becoming a DJ.
- Imagination in Action: An inspiring session, where the host delves into the power of imagination in storytelling, sharing insights on how cultivating a vibrant imagination is essential for bringing characters to life, as well as the importance of thinking outside ‘normal’ to propose different ways of seeing the world.
- Cultures of Innovation: Tobi (Tobjizzle, TBJZL); YouTuber, streamer, influencer, and co-founder of the Sidemen and Ibrahim Kamara, Digital Creative Entrepreneur and co-founder of GUAP, will come together to explore how embracing diverse viewpoints can lead to groundbreaking achievements and foster environments where everyone’s voice contributes to success.
- Digital Threads of Identity: Yammy, gamer, vlogger and blogger, steps to the stage where she will share her curiosity for storytelling through self-expression, and how building worlds in the digital space helped her develop and find alternative, creative ways of achieving her vision.
- Sustainable Voices: Aimee Smale, founder of Odd Muse London, discusses how her path to fashion allowed her to speak confidently and champion sustainable practices within her work and staying true to her perspective.
There is a special talk just for the parents too, aimed to empower parents to unlock their kids’ potential. Parents will come away feeling confident about how to encourage unique interests, and address challenges that may arise when a child pursues what their parents may deem as unconventional paths.
Tickets are available for a charitable donation of £5* for a 3.5-hour-slot and can be purchased through EE Learn with £5 going to Home-Start, a UK charity focused on equipping families with the necessary skills, confidence, and strength to nurture their children. What’s more, a selection of tickets will be given to schools in the local area.
For anyone who can’t make it on the day, talks and panel discussions will be packaged into dynamic and engaging episodes available on EE LearnSmart: https://eelearnsmart.co.uk/.
