  • 2018 EE British Academy Film Awards host Joanna Lumley invites viewers to take part in this first-of-its-kind interactive quiz
  • The quiz will be available for film fans to play on EE’s Facebook and YouTube pages and shown on Google Daydream headsets in EE’s five showcase stores and until the end of February

14th February 2018: EE, the UK’s largest mobile operator and part of the BT Group, has created an interactive virtual reality quiz, testing film fans on their movie knowledge ahead of the EE British Academy Film Awards.

Set against a spectacular 360 degree backdrop in the Savoy hotel overlooking the River Thames, 2018 EE British Academy Film Awards host Joanna Lumley plays the role of quizmaster, testing viewers on their movie trivia.

The unique quiz format sees Joanna ask a series of questions, inviting the viewer to look around the room where they will see the possible answers suspended in virtual reality. After a five second countdown, the viewer is invited to turn back to face Joanna where the correct answer is revealed.

Film fans wishing to experience this interactive quiz in 360 degrees can do so by visiting EE’s Facebook or YouTube pages on their smartphone or by heading to one of EE’s five showcase stores where they try a Google Daydream headset for the full immersive experience.

To take the virtual reality EE British Academy Film Awards quiz with Joanna Lumley visit EE’s Facebook or YouTube pages using a smartphone or head to any EE showcase store (Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City, Tottenham Court Road, Nottingham Victoria, Oxford Westgate) before the end of February.
