As we get ready to return to the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles to celebrate the future of gaming with the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing, we’re excited to announce today that Xbox will welcome global streetwear brand AAPE by *A Bathing Ape for their debut of a capsule collection inspired by the Gears of War player community.

Building on AAPE’s videogame-inspired Spring 2019 collection, this capsule combines the two most iconic Gears symbols –  the Lancer rifle and Crimson Omen – with the trademark AAPE CAMO for a distinct look. The collection will be available at the Microsoft Theater beginning this Sunday, June 9 to celebrate E3.

AAPE has plans to expand this year across North America with new locations in Los Angeles and New York, and this capsule is just the first step in a broad Xbox collaboration, with a larger collection to follow in advance of “Gears 5” launch, later this year. Releasing for Xbox One and Windows 10, Gears 5 is bigger than ever and will come to Xbox Game Pass on the same date as its global release.
